Titanium condenser tubes have strong resistance to pitting corrosion, especially under seawater flow velocities up to 20m/s. This is due to the presence on its surface of a thin and dense oxide film. Titanium can be made into a thin-wall tube and allows for an increase in water speed, meanwhile, titanium has a high cleaning coefficient and a drop-like condensation characteristic, so that the overall heat transfer coefficient can be significantly improved.
